Privacy Statement

CÉ processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself — for example, when you place an order, sign up for our newsletter or contact us via the contact form.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we (may) process:

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • Address details (shipping and billing address)

  • Order details and payment information (securely processed via Mollie)

  • Information about your activities on our website

  • IP address

  • Internet browser and device type

Why we process this data

CÉ processes your data for the following purposes:

  • Processing and shipping your order

  • Processing your payment

  • Being able to contact you if necessary to provide our services

  • Improving our website and user experience

  • Sending our newsletter (only if you have given permission for this)

  • Compliance with legal obligations (such as tax legislation)

We only use your data for these purposes and only when this is legally permitted or when you have given permission for this.
Each newsletter contains a link with which you can easily unsubscribe.

CÉ analyses behaviour on the website to improve our services.
We use Google Analytics for this purpose, for which a processing agreement has been concluded to comply with the GDPR.

Security of personal data

CÉ takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

Retention period

CÉ does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Examples:

  • Order and invoice data will be retained for as long as legally required (e.g. for the tax authorities).

  • Newsletter data will be retained until you unsubscribe.

  • Contact form data will be retained for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry.

View, change or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data.
You also have the right to withdraw your previously given consent for data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data by CÉ.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (the Dutch privacy watchdog).

You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to info@ce-official.nl .
CÉ will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks .

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit our website.
CÉ uses cookies to ensure the website functions properly and to gain insight into how the website is used so we can improve our services.

You can disable cookies by setting your internet browser to no longer store cookies.
In addition, you can delete all previously saved information via your browser settings.

Third-party cookies

During a visit to the CÉ website, third-party cookies may be placed, such as:

  • Shopify (for webshop functionality and checkout)

NB:

  • We have no influence on these cookies.

  • These fall under the privacy policy of the relevant provider .

  • Data may be stored on servers outside the EU. These parties comply with the applicable GDPR regulations for data transfers.

Job applications

Personal data (such as name, email address, and resume) received via email or forms as part of a job application will only be retained for the duration of the application process. After the process is complete, the data will be deleted.
